June 2013 Reveal

We PACKED our June 2013 KnitCrates with LOADS of fun! From a new KnitCrate exclusive beaded sock pattern using the included Periwinkle Sheep yarn, to a fun Summer project that will “bring out the monster” in many other subscribers with the included multiple skeins of vibrant Simplicity yarn, there were a lot of bulging shiny red mailers flying out of KnitCrate Central.  The majority of June KnitCrates included a project in case our subscribers want to contribute to 600 Monsters Strong - we hope this encourages them to use their gift of knitting and/or crocheting to bring joy to a child experiencing less than fortunate circumstances. 600 Monsters Strong strives to bring “monster-friends” to children affected by traumatic situations through the generosity of crafters worldwide.

Of course we also loaded our June KnitCrates with other awesome goodies like:

  • a Della Q Edict project bag so you can store your favorite project in style
  • a Groovy Baker handmade lollipop in a flavor selected especially by us (that was fun!)
  • a $50 NakedWines.com Gift Card to use or gift to a loved one
  • a bonus 18-page pattern by Adrienne Enriquez printed for you by KnitCrate
  • several KnitCrate exclusive promo codes including 50% off (regularly priced at $35) the e-book Life at Downton Abbey by Meagheen Ryan – this e-book has 30 timeless patterns depicting life at Downton Abbey and the characters’ personalities – with proceeds going to various charities!

Below are links you can click on for details on each June KnitCrate.

Please note that for the second month in a row demand for KnitCrates has FAR exceeded our projections – thank you all!  Thus, we cannot offer any June past packages for sale because we were oversubscribed.  Also, due to the increased demand we will no longer offer ANY “past packages” for sale (we used to sell them for $10 above the applicable subscription rate when we had extra KnitCrates). . . the only way to get a KnitCrate is to be a subscriber.

We’re already putting the final touches on your July KnitCrates – how exciting!  The premium yarns we’ve selected are lovely.  We’ll once more bring a new KnitCrate exclusive colorway to our Indie subscribers – we call it “Maple Kisses”.  Also, July KnitCrates will include a VERY SPECIAL fun extra!  This extra’s retail value is approximately $30 and we’re sure it’ll get years of use.  We’re so honored that this premier company allowed us to buy out their ENTIRE INVENTORY – we seem to be doing that to our vendors on a regular basis lately – so we can bring our fellow fiber artists this fantastic item.  Our waitlist will likely be coming back soon so if you want to subscribe to a KnitCrate in time for a July delivery, we suggest you do so pronto!
