"So what's a KnitCrate really worth?"

So what’s a KnitCrate really worth?” A lot of our KnitCraters have been busy spreading the word about our service (we Thank You for your support!) and we’ve been getting that question as we field more calls from interested fiber artists around the world. Well you can’t put a price on AWESOME curated surprise packages arriving at your doorstep! However, below are a few examples to quantify the value of a KnitCrate to help people new to KnitCrate…

Putting aside the thrill of opening our shiny red mailer, not having to spend time finding a fun exciting project, receiving newly released/exclusive patterns, receiving new yarn colorways, etc., (and keeping in mind you can always save the pattern and use the yarn for your own fun project) below are examples of past KnitCrate’s retail value. Of course, there are other benefits to being a KnitCrater that increase the value of being a subscriber!

***SPOILER ALERT*** THIS POST INCLUDES THE CONTENTS OF A JULY KNITCRATE

- WHAT IT COST: Monthly subscribers in US/Canada paid $55 (Bi-monthly subscribers paid $60), which included free shipping and handling.

- WHAT IT’S WORTH: The retail value was considerably higher than the amount paid (even for KnitCraters outside the US/Canada who paid an additional $5 to cover higher S&H):

  • 2 skeins of UK-based Artesano yarn at $30
  • 3 Lana Bella products at $6
