You spoke, we listened! Many improvements are here...LOVE!

We've made a significant investment in improving Knitcrate just for you! We sent an email out on this earlier today, which you can read here (along with NEW yarns), but we're posting it a our blog for all to read:
First, many thanks to everyone who has provided feedback on our service over the past several years. We've really taken it ALL to heart and used it to guide us on where we want to take Knitcrate for the next several years...many of you have been with us since our launch in November 2012 and we feel like we've all "grown" together.

A lot of people don't realize that we're a very small company 100% owned and operated by a husband and wife team! To date we've handled everything from web design, customer service, marketing, vendor relations and much, much more. It's time for Knitcrate to graduate to the next level of fantastic service and that's what we'll be focused on for the remainder of 2016.

Despite our labor constraints we've grown by triple digits each year SOLELY due to our wonderful relationships with our super fab customers (yes, we LOVE you!!). In fact, despite our small size we have active customers in 19 countries around the world - our customer loyalty is very, very strong! In turn, our loyalty to our customers is very strong which is why we've made the following significant investments to improve Knitcrate:

1. Phone support: Questions, comments or concerns? Give us a ring at +1 (845) 208-8452 during normal business hours (we're Central US) or request a call back by clicking on the red "help" button at our website.

2. Live chat support: Sometimes you just have a quick question...we'll be available during normal business hours if you need us (if the red "Knitcrate Live Chat" button in the lower left corner of our website isn't showing it's because we're chatting with someone else at the moment!).

3. Our first employee: We're getting help...wait, what?! YAAAAAY!!! OMG, YAY, OMG!! We SO needed this - Joe and I have worked 6 days/week for 12-18 hours/day for the past 3+ years with no vacation (I know, boo hoo!). Jason has joined us full time to help with packing and shipping (he has 10 years' experience with a major entity on that end!) and many other tasks around Knitcrate Central. Please be patient as we fully integrate him into our "system" over the next couple of months, but you can expect faster ship times and more promotions from us because we can take the demand! Did we mention YAAAAY!! 

4. Product reviews: You can now post reviews via email! That means no more having to visit our site, find the product page, and then post a review. Faster, simpler, better! Approximately 2 weeks after your store order ships you'll receive an email asking for a review...check your spam folder and put it on your safe list. YOUR REVIEWS HELP US AND WE'LL BE DOING QUARTERLY GIVEAWAYS FOR REVIEWS WITH THE FIRST GIVEAWAY ON JUNE 1ST!

5. Image share: We know you like to share, but until now you could only share a product page with the main image upfront. Now you can hover over any image at our website and share it with your most popular social networks.

6. Wishlist: Your wish is our command! When we rolled out our website redesign last year we nixed our basic wishlist because it just didn't "do" it for us...our new Wishlist feature is the bomb dot com! You can create multiple wishlists, add notes, share them with friends and much more! Be sure to login to your free store account so your "Add to Wishlist" items are saved to your store account.

7. $10 / $10 referrals: $10 for you, $10 for them... What better way to spread joy than to spread dough!? We'll be emailing all of our subscribers by the end of next week with their unique referral code to take advantage of this new subscriber benefit that we recently rolled out. Don't forget to check your spam folders!

8. More rewards: We've upgraded our Knitcrate Points system to include additional rewards offerings. We know that our customers and subscribers alike LOVE their points - take advantage and use them! Also, there's a new special reward offering that we KNOW our non-US customers are going to love because you've been asking for S&H on an order! How's that for bringing Knitcrate closer to home?! Merci, Gracias, Grazie, Danke you say? You're very welcome!

9. Easier shopping: We've made several improvements to our front-end and back-end of our website to allow you to find the products you want easier. For example, at the bottom of product pages you can see recommended items based on what others have purchased as well as your recently viewed items. There are also other features like trending items to help you find what you need (yes, yarn is a need).
