Due to the increased demand in our full Indie KnitCrates and the limited capacity that Indie dyers have, we had to make the difficult decision to discontinue our Fiberbox offering so we can fulfill demand for our full Indie KnitCrate offering. Thus, February will be the final Fiberbox (this was the “just the yarn” offering and not a KnitCrate).
If you read our February newsletter then you know that we are experiencing tremendous growth – we shipped over 1,100% more KnitCrate subscriptions in January 2014 than January 2013 to fiber artists in 14 countries around the world. The number of knitters and crocheters using KnitCrate is clearly growing, and the activity at our site generated by those talented fiber artists is increasing. It’s all good - and it’s required that we expand our capabilities as laid out in our February newsletter (sign up here http://eepurl.com/vwH3z and we’ll send it to you – we promise NO SPAM and you can get off our mailing list at any time!).
We’ve worked hard to not bring back our waitlist but our growth may soon necessitate a return to that system…ensure you can get a KnitCrate by subscribing today at http://www.KnitCrate.com/subscribe
One item we’d like to highlight from our February newsletter: PRICING! The USPS raised rates again this January...they also raised rates last January. However, we've worked hard to ensure that our subscription rates do not increase. In fact, unlike other subscription box services we have not raised our subscription rates - they've stayed the same since our launch in November 2012. We've even reduced rates to our international subscribers and we're working to further reduce pricing for select countries where we have a strong subscription and recurring customer base. We will work diligently to ensure that we can continue this trend through to 2015 and beyond.
Stay tuned because a new KnitCrate giveaway will be announced tomorrow!!!X
