NEW CHANGES

NEW CHANGES IN PREPARATION FOR WEBSITE REDESIGN LAUNCH:Pre-pay and save, new subscription offering, an end to new bi-monthly subscriptions, new look & new feel…

  • NEW SUBSCRIPTION PLANS: we now offer all subscriptions in a Monthly plan, 3 Months plan (save $3/package) and 6 Months plan (save $6/package)… This has been a popular request since our launch in 2012 and we’re so pleased to finally roll it out – it’s a great way to save on your KnitCrates and get your KnitCrate Points upfront. Please note that these new options mean we’ll need to close out subscription categories more often and for longer durations – first come first served! Already a subscriber and want to change plans? No problem…visit HERE Ready to subscribe? Visit HERE
  • COMBINING BEGINNER WITH INT/ADV: we’ve been lucky enough to work with wonderful designers and yarn companies that allow us to include our Beginner KnitCrate pattern in the Int/Adv KnitCrate and vice versa so we’re combing these packages into a “KnitCrate” option that will include both patterns! Existing Beginner and Int/Adv subscribers will receive this new KnitCrate at the same subscription rate (nothing for you to do!).
  • BI-MONTHLY ENDS: we’ve been so fortunate to have continued growth and a cancellation rate in the single digits every month since our launch in 2012 (THANK YOU!!!!). For those reasons, and the statistical reality that 87% of Bi-monthly subscribers switch to a Monthly subscription by their second shipment, we can no longer offer a bi-monthly subscription option. Existing bi-monthly subscribers are grandfathered in for now (nothing for you to do!)
  • NEW LOOK & NEW FEEL: we anticipate launching the fully redesigned website and being on new (and faster!) servers in a week and completely migrating all backend functionality by the end of the month. Please expect approximately 15 minutes of downtime next Friday (March 13th at 11:00 pm EST) and two weeks later (March 27th at 11:00 pm EST) as we implement these upgrades. Last year when we upgraded our website we were down for 2 days…fingers crossed this goes much, much, much smoother!
