Knit & Crochet Club Theme
Bright fields of flowers blooming and waving in the wind welcome spring. This vibrant rebirth injects new life into the season putting a bounce in our step and inspiring this month’s Petal theme.
KnitCrate Knit & Crochet Club
Audine Wools Bloom is a blossoming blend of 80% Alpaca, 10% Silk, and 10% Camel. Petal-soft, this chainette yarn is DK weight but is close to a light Worsted that is drapey on larger needles and hooks and yet creates a denser fabric on smaller needles and hooks. Each 231 yd (211 m) skein has a bit of a halo to it and will fully bloom into your next project.

Pansy: Deep maroon with golden undertones and flecks of purple mirror the unique shade found in a variety of pansies.
Begonia: This earthy red has subtle pink tones that give this shade the most gentle brightness, just as begonias provide in our gardens.
Nasturtium: The orange-red of the Nasturtium lends its name to this shade, which reminds us of the rich colors of spring.
California Poppy: This cheerful and bright orange glows like the bright tangerine tones found in the California Poppy.
Sunflower: This mustardy yellow glows as a fully bloomed sunflower does in the light of the midday sun.
Delphinium: Blues are rare in the floral world, so we’re quite smitten with this deep blue with subtle purple undertones that reminds us of some Delphinium shades.
Blue Agave: The deep teal of the Blue Agave plan is celebrated in this bright green-blue colorway.
Philodendrum: The light yellow-green of the philodendron are shown in this colorway with a similar name and has both yellow and dark green undertones.
Forget-Me-Not: The pale tones of the white Forget-Me-Not lends its name to this natural, sandy-taupe tone with the subtlest of blush undertones.

Sock Knit & Crochet Club + Mrs. Crosby Travels Theme
Our heads turn to the skies this month to watch the celestial show as moonlight gives us our theme. Wispy clouds and contrasting hues gather and shift through texture and openwork reminiscent of stars pinpricking the heavens.
Sock Knit & Crochet Club
The softness of moonlight finds its place with our Audine Wools Cloud Sock. This blend of 60% Superwash Merino, 30% Mohair, and 10% Nylon combine in a fingering weight delight for socks with a rustic touch.
Eclipse: A harvest blood moon rises in this shade of magenta that shows the work of the atmosphere when it turns the moon vibrant red hues with shadows of deep purple along the shadows.
Wolf Moon: The dark night sky of January is the back drop for the month’s first full moon in this bright moon blue. Speckled with navy throughout, this blend of light and dark has the feel of a cool winter night sky.
Honeymoon: The sweetness of the honey moon, both for the newly betrothed and all those moon gazing in the month of June, is celebrated in this warm taupe with bits of gold speckled throughout.

Mrs. Crosby Travels Club, Quarterly Membership
This quarter, our favorite globetrotting yarn lover, Mrs. Crosby, returns from her travels in Egypt where she spent a number of days exploring Cairo. While there, her itinerary included early morning pyramid, architectural, and historical tours, afternoon adventures in the markets of Khan El-Khalili, and evenings cruising the Nile where she was able to capture the most beautiful sunsets. She was taken in by the glowing bronze and amber tones of the evening sky as the moon rose to bring darkness upon the city. As always, she’s captured the essence of these evening skies in a colorway just for us.
Mrs. Crosby Hieroglyph is a luscious sport weight, 100% Superwash Merino Wool yarn that is perfect for both accessories and garments. Hand dyed in the exclusive colorway Moonlight Over Cairo, each skein is 328 yds (300m), and you’ll have 3 skeins for your next project.
