December 2018 Sock Artisan Crate Reveal
We’re wrapping up our reveals for the week–head to toe. Some of us know that the toes are our favorite feature to knit for. There’s something special about socks, especially around the cooler months of the year (around here, at least). Wrap your toes up in something really special with this month’s Sock Artisan Crate, featuring yarn dyed by A Hundred Ravens.
*Wassail*, this month’s colorway, is inspired by mulled wine, carolling and visiting with friends during the holiday season. Full bodied reds, pinks, rusty oranges and touches of spicy brown subtly work their way through each skein.

While this one looks variegated, in the ball it almost looks like a solid color, and certainly knits up into a seamlessly lovely sock when using Tracy Seamster’s Sea at Dawn pattern:

Inspired by foamy waves against a warm sunset, Tracy’s pattern has us dreaming of a white-sands Christmas (like what we have in Miami!) This month’s crate also comes with a giftable holiday card. Join us in the Ravelry group for this dream of a shipment and knit along with other Knitcrate friends.
