Knitcrate Artisan Reveal is Up!

If youre looking for an easy, breezy box this month, youre in luck: our Sugar Sugar themed Knitcrate Artisan shipments are sweet as can be. The yarn in Artisan this month is from Kristin Omdahl, world-renowned crochet and knitting designer and now, yarn designer, too. The yarn featured this month is her Be So Tender, a 100% Organic cotton yarn with 140 yards per 100 g ball. Oh… and you get THREE skeins – one of each color:

Kristin, of course, designed our patterns this month. The Beginner pattern is Breezy, a wide wrap featuring colorful, chevron stripes. Youll love learning how these stripes are made (and this pattern is a great one to keep in your gift-giving arsenal for later, too)! The luxuriously soft cotton will keep you cozy without overheating as the weather changes.

The Intermediate pattern this month is Skye, a similar wrap that features dropped stitches and lots of texture (another fun technique to try)! This one is perfect for those of us headed towards warmer weather a little faster - wouldnt it be beautiful with a tee in a matching color?

The extra this month is really fun! The little white sheep in our photos is an acrylic bobbin designed just for us. Wrap extra yarn around his belly and save a bit for darning your socks later, or tuck him into a gift as part of the package! You can also use him to store notions like ribbon or rick-rack, or use him while knitting intarsia.

We hope you love this month of Artisan Crate and we cant wait to see what you make with it! Be sure to share with us in the Ravelry group as your shipments arrive!
