Our yarn this month is perfect for ending the North American Summer (or starting a Southern Hemisphere one)! Knit One Crochet Too Daisy is a beautiful, sport weight, blend of 38% Linen, 32% Silk, and 30% Hemp. These plant fibers come together to create a shining, strong yarn, with 272 yards per skein (for a total of 544 yards per crate). We’re sending out three colors and each member will have one colorway in their crate: Patina is a cheery turqouise, Goldenrod is the happiest of late-summer yellows, and Silver is a not-quite neutral that almost reflects the colors you put near it.
This yarn is very soft in the skein, and it certainly knits up to be a truly luxurious fabric in this month’s patterns. The first pattern, our beginning knitting feature, comes from Jesse Molzan, who also happens to be the owner and operator of K1C2. Her Quinta Poncho is an asymmetrical, effortless piece you’ll love layering.
The extra in this box is perfect for those of you already thinking ahead to the holidays (I know, it’s almost painful to talk about)! These gift tags are a great finishing touch to any handmade present you’ll be sending away, and have plenty of room to include all the details.
