This month, we’re excited to partner with Our Maker Life as our crate influencer. If this is your first introduction to the OML community, you are in for a real treat! The making community created by founders Jewell Washington and Nathan Bryant is filled with makers of all sorts: knitters, crocheters, yarn dyers, designers, and more. Along with team members Christie Bodden and Jake Kenyon, this network of makers are a constant source of inspiration to fiber artists everywhere.

Malabrigo Partner Crate, Quarterly Membership

With this quarter’s Malabrigo Partner Crate, we are swooning over the textures of two different yarn bases: Mechita with its single ply fluffiness, and Mora with its smoothness and radiant glow. Both are fingering weight yarns, and, in this crate, you’ll receive a skein of each! Our crochet design this quarter is from Amy Gunderson who brings us Flores de Jardin, an asymmetrical shawl with loads of laciness and charm. Summer is here! To kick off our summer celebration, we’ve teamed up with Michele Costa of Stitch & Hustle! Michele is both a knit and crochet designer as well as a blogger and instructor who loves to bring yarn inspiration to everyone she meets. She is also the host and organizer of the nationwide fiber-filled fun retreat series, Stitch Up! Through her events that bring our knitters and crocheters together and the countless free patterns on her blog, Michele is a light in our fiber community. Mrs. Crosby Travels Partner Crate, 

Quarterly Membership

While COVID-19 has limited Mrs. Crosby’s travel options, it has not slowed her down! This quarter, Mrs. Crosby set off on a road trip from Kentucky to Miami to visit her friends at KnitCrate. While there, her Miami evenings were spent in the warm glow of moonlight followed by days spent relaxing on a private beach soaking in the sun and stitching away on her latest project.  She returned home with her bags packed and inspiration in store for us with this quarter’s yarn, perfect for stitching away by the sand.  

This month, we are featuring Mrs. Crosby’s Descansa on Tasi- a soft and squishy 80% Superwash Merino 20% Nylon blend.
