For August, our featured Membership yarn is our Vidalana Linen Jewel: 50% Superwash Merino Wool, 30% Linen, and 20% Silk. This yarn is fingering weight and 400 yards (366m) per 100g skein. Light and elegant, you will treasure this yarn blend!
This deep magenta shade has us thinking of the saturated colors of flowers in full bloom.
The crispness of this colorway has pale green and blue tones often found as leaves unfold in your favorite foliage.

With this quarter’s Malabrigo Partner Crate, we are swooning over the textures of two different yarn bases: Mechita with its single ply fluffiness, and Mora with its smoothness and radiant glow. Both are fingering weight yarns, and, in this crate, you’ll receive a skein of each! Mechita is a 100% Superwash Merino yarn (420 yards (384m) / 100g skein) while Mora is 100% Silk (225 yards (206m) / 50g skein). Michele is both a knit and crochet designer as well as a blogger and instructor who loves to bring yarn inspiration to everyone she meets. She is also the host and organizer of the nationwide fiber-filled fun retreat series, Stitch Up! Through her events that bring our knitters and crocheters together and the countless free patterns on her blog, Michele is a light in our fiber community. And, she not only helped us design each color way featured for July but also designed both Membership Crate patterns perfect for the experienced and beginning crafter alike.
This month’s theme is Color Splash - Red hot poppy, bubblegum pink, dark magenta, silver, and teal find a home in this fun exciting palette.
This month’s featured Membership yarn is our URU.YARN Cotton Basic, a 100% Unmercerized Organic Pima Cotton. This yarn is a DK weight and each hank is 275 yards in length at 100g. The cotton is spun and plied in a 3 ply construction resulting in a very sturdy and breathable fabric that is perfect for accessories and garments.
This colorway is inspired by one of Michele’s favorite colors. With a mélange tonal effect, this colorway perfectly represents all of Michele’s favorite shades of pink!
A deep and tonal navy that reminds us of the dark night sky.
This multi tone gray is a nod to the busy streets and sidewalks that make up Michele’s favorite cities.

While COVID-19 has limited Mrs. Crosby’s travel options, it has not slowed her down! This quarter, Mrs. Crosby set off on a road trip from Kentucky to Miami to visit her friends at KnitCrate.
