Like many of you, my favorite “will they, won’t they” couples is Luke & Lorelai from The Gilmore Girls. They completely warm my heart! One of the many reasons I appreciate them as a couple is how opposite they are as people, which I deeply relate to with Curt being my complete opposite.
Worked in the round, Luke contains written directions and a chart for the pattern stitch. Instructions are for both cuff-down and toe-up. If you feel inclined to make 2 in the same direction, that’s completely acceptable, or one of each if you’re feeling particularly topsy-turvy! Luke features 4 sizes. You’ll also find a sock worksheet, so you know how to measure your foot to achieve a perfect fit. Luke has directions for an afterthought heel, but you may substitute whatever heel you enjoy using.
The pattern is written for the magic loop method for knitting socks; however, the pattern notes do contain details should you wish to use double-pointed needles instead.
