Thank you for joining us as a designer for KnitCrate! We are honored that you will be lending us your talent and imagination for a shop, crate, or special feature. Here is everything you’ll need to know or files you’ll need to access while you’re collaborating with us!
Please familiarize yourself with our Designer Guidelines before beginning work on your pattern. Our guidelines include a lot of important information about designing for KnitCrate.
All patterns must be written using our Pattern Design Format document. Please download a copy of our pattern format. Then edit it in MS Word or Google Docs to write your pattern draft.
We believe that knitting and crocheting should be accessible to everyone, so we strive to make our accessory and garment patterns inclusive to as many body sizes as possible! Please read our sizing information to make sure your pattern includes all required sizes.
Before you do any significant work on your pattern, you’ll need to submit a design proposal to us for approval. This should be done within one week of receiving yarn support from us.We will aim to respond to your design proposal within a couple days of receipt.
Click the button below to submit your pattern draft. A member of our Tech Editing team will be in touch with you as soon as they get started with your pattern, with edits to your pattern or any questions they may have. Please be sure to submit your pattern draft by the deadline on your Work Order.
