Often, when I have significant changes in my life, I try to find the positive in it and the best way forward. With my grandmother’s dementia worsening and being unable to provide her with what she needs as live-in care, it was time to begin the next chapter in life regardless of how heartbreaking the situation was.
Green Pastures is a triangular-shaped shawl that represents how I was feeling during that transition, with waves of the inner struggle I was facing — using knitting as an outlet to reflect on those emotions, finding myself again, and beginning the journey of healing.
Worked flat, Green Pastures contains written directions and charts. A handy-dandy progress tracker is included to help you with your rows and stitch counts. Yardage for each section is given should you wish to turn this into a scrappy project!
