Know what’s scary? Publishing your first knitting pattern! It took a lot to hit publish and release a creative idea into the wild when I went to release Irish Whiskey back in March of 2016, but I’m so glad I did. The incredible journey it set me on has been truly amazing. I have found my calling. I’ve learned a lot about knitwear design and pattern writing over the years, and I’m forever grateful for the urging and support I had from those around me who encouraged me to write my first one.

PATTERN INFO
Irish Whiskey – Worked in the round, Irish Whiskey contains both cuff-down and toe-up written directions and a chart for the pattern stitch. The pattern has instructions for an afterthought heel, but you may substitute whatever heel you enjoy using.
The pattern is written for the magic loop method for knitting socks; however, the design could be worked on double-pointed needles or mini-circulars instead should you prefer.
