The shifting eyelets and mermaid tails seemed all too perfect for the Mermaid Lagoon colorway from Lofty Loops. The combination of speckles and hues make a big splash with these addictively fun socks.
Worked in the round, Lady of the Sea contains written directions and a chart for the pattern stitch. Instructions are for both cuff-down and toe-up. If you feel inclined to make 2 in the same direction, that’s completely acceptable, or one of each if you’re feeling particularly topsy-turvy! Lady of the Sea features 4 sizes; Small, Medium, Large, & X-Large. You’ll also find a sock worksheet, so you know how to measure your foot to achieve a perfect fit. Lady of the Sea has directions for an afterthought heel, but you may substitute whatever heel you enjoy using.
The pattern is written for the magic loop method for knitting socks; however, the pattern notes do contain details should you wish to use double pointed needles instead.
