The Mediterranean Shrug is an oversized garment that can be worn as a shawl. It's crocheted in one piece as a rectangle, then folded and seamed. The design consists of a lace pattern that brings to mind palm trees. That is why, as I crocheted it, I imagined walking along the seashore at sunset. Light and warm, it's the perfect piece for cooler evenings.
