This little drawstring bag pattern is designed from my lifelong love of the moon.
A quick knit and easy colorwork even for beginners, wonderful to hold all sorts of small objects, such as tarot cards, dices, or crystals. But also for headphones, notions, or whatever you want!
SIZING
9" - 22.8 cm circumference
GAUGE, NEEDLES, NOTIONS
Gauge: 22 stitches and 29 rounds over 4”/10cm
Needles: US 4 - 3.5 mm 32”- 80 cm circular needles for magic loop or DPN.
Notions: Stitch markers, Tapestry needle
YARN
I used: Premawitch yarn (70% Merino, 20% Silk, 10% Alpaca).
Yarn: weight 2 (Fine, sport, baby)
Yardage: MC: 116 yds / 106 m - CC: 5.2 yds / 4.75 m
CONSTRUCTION
Circular shape based on Elizabeth Zimmerman’s Pi Shawl, with eight moon phases surrounding the circle. You can choose to work the colorwork doing intarsia or duplicate stitch, and the pattern ends with the lacy crown picot bind off.
